Talks on restructuring Kumtor not complete yet – Mamytov

Bishkek. March 31. KyrTAG – Albina Meterova. Talks on restructuring Kumtor are not complete yet. Chair of JSC ″Kyrgyzaltyn″ Tokon Mamytov informed KyrTAG Tuesday.
″Talks with Canadian side on restructuring Kumtor are going on since March 23, they are not complete yet today. Now we are talking about legal and ecological issues. So, it is hard to say, will the talk be finished in time″, - said Mamytov.
We note, in January this year, the parliament adopted a decree, where the government has two months to complete talks with Canadian side the issue of Kumtor and provide report to the parliament untill March 31 2015. The term ends today.
