Salyanova: General Prosecutor Does not Have any Grounds for Commencing Criminal Cases Against Members of «Ata-Meken» Faction

General Prosecutor of Kyrgyzstan does not have any grounds for commencing criminal cases against members of «Ata-Meken» faction, General Prosecutor of the Kyrgyz Republic, Aida Salyanova informed at session of Jogorku Kenesh on Wednesday.

«General Prosecutor’s office does not have any grounds for commencing criminal cases against members of «Ata-Meken» faction on looting»,- Ms. Salyanova said, when answering to a question from Jyldyzkan Joldosheva, Member of Parliament, who was interested why  criminal cases against members of «Ata-Jurt» faction were commenced and there were no any actions by the Prosecutors office against «Ata-Meken» members.

 

«We have evidences against members of «Ata-Jurt» faction, and for now we do not have anything against «Ata-Meken» members», - Ms. Salyanova noted.

Parlament Member J. Joldosheva expressed her opinion that General Prosecutor shows biased attitude towards members of Parliament from different factions. «Even though you close your eyes on these issues, people know that «Ata-Meken» followers were involved in massive lootings in April 2010», - Ms. Joldosheva said.
