Prices for imported food grew 15% in Kyrgyzstan in six months
Bishkek. March 24. KyrTAG – Bakyt Tolkanov. Prices for imported food have grown 15% in Kyrgyzstan in six months. Chief of Chamber of commerce on small and medium business Gulnara Uskenbayeva told KyrTAG Tuesday.
″In six months prices for imported food grew 10-15% as a maximum, for foreign-trade operations are carried out in american currency ″, - said she.
According to her, prices have changed less for a while, which was expected due to rising dollar’s rate, for businessmen decreased their margin.
″But they can not keep prices for long, therefore prices will climb, it is hard to say how much″, - said Gulnara Uskenbayeva.
