Lowest salary, 2 thousand soms, paid to workers of forest and water management in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek. March 27. KyrTAG – Bakyt Tolkanov. The lowest salaries in Kyrgyzstan reach 2 thousand soms. Deputy minister of finance Arzybek Kozhoshev told KyrTAG Friday.

″We need to raise wages for non-state employees: foresters and water management workers. Their salaries are the lowest today, somewhere between 2 and 3.5-4 thousand soms. Since May 1 we will increase their wages by 50%-200%″, - said he.

According to him, this will take 670 mln soms.

″Also since September 1 we will raise wages for employees in education sphere, by 5-6 thousand soms. Increase will reach 50%. It will take at least 3 bln soms″, - he said.
