Kyrgyz National bank makes third currency intervention

Bishkek. March 27. KyrTAG – Bakyt Tolkanov. Kyrgyz National bank makes third currency intervention at amount $7 mln 550 thousand, according to website of the bank.
Yesterday, the National bank sold $7 mln 550 thousand with projections for transaction day. We note, Wednesday the rate exceeded 64 soms per 1 US dollar.
Recall, this is the tenth intervention since early year and fourth in March. On 16 and 24 March 2015 the National bank sold $24.7 mln and $8.4 accordingly, and on March 25 it sold $11 mln 400 thousand.
