Energy ministry accuses kyrgyzstanis of wastefulness and carelessness

Bishkek. March 25. KyrTAG - Bakyt Tolkanov. Wastefulness and carelessness of kyrgyzstanis is one of the reasons of energy crisis in Kyrgyzstan. Deputy minister of Energy and industry Nurlan Sadykov informed Wednesday.
″Today people say that so many years our country has been exporting electricity, but now it imports it. Wastefulness and carelessness of kyrgyzstanis is one of the reasons of energy crisis in Kyrgyzstan″, - said N.Sadykov.
He says that unreasonable deterrence of tariffs for electricity led to sharp increase of consumption, since people have began to use it for mass heating, that led to deficit of energy.
It is noteworthy that technical and commercial losses in energy sector exceeds 20%.
