126 kyrgyz soldiers took part in liberation of Auswitz

Bishkek. January 28. KyrTAG - German concentration camp Auswitz in Poland was liberated by the 60th army of the First Ukraine front, which had 126 kyrgyz soldiers.  Information about liberation of the camp and national structure was released by Defence ministry of Russia.

According to the defence ministry of Russia, 40 nationalities took part in liberation of prisoners from the death camp. Among them were 126 kyrgyz soldiers, including 8 officers. Most of them were russians – 42.4 thousand and ukrainians – 38 thousand people.
